For the past 9 years, I worked a lot.  In the world of small business, 10-12 hours a day for 360 days a year is par for the course.  Going out of business was perhaps the best thing that could have happened.

Traveling has always been my passion.  It all started with a backpacking trip through Europe, some time in Australia and a year in Asia.  Work brought me to the hinder-lands of China where I met incredible people and saw unbelievable things.  Asia has always been a special place for me.  Over the years I've lost track of all the places I've been.

Ironically, Canada's never been on the list.  We live in a an age where the automobile, train or plane has made the experience of traveling a series of pictures seen through a pane of glass.  By pedaling from Vancouver to Toronto I hope to meet some of the people and live the experiences that make this country special.
